I went to Upper Merion my entire life up until my senior year. This year I transferred to Daniel Boone, and one thing I miss the most is my teachers. Daniel Boone has average teachers who teach directly to the AP test or keystones, with a lack of technology, and some do not even come to school very often. If I had gone here all my life, I feel like I would have rated it higher; but because I have Upper Merion to compare it to, whose teachers go above and beyond, I have rated it as "it's okay."

This school has made great strides under new leadership. If you compare the SPP scores to others in the area, they are among the top. Great teachers, great kids, great school.

The lower grades are pretty good. Once you hit the middle school it is okay but not without issues. You will find teachers who are unable to handle special needs kids. Principles who don't know who to discipline and when. Bullying is terrible and the district doesn't step up to deal with it. The hig...
