My daughter went to Kindergarten and 1st grade so far. She had great teachers in both years and haven't had any issues with friends and faculties. They have four special programs in 1st grade that rotate daily. The school district provides free breakfast and lunch that are fair in quality. They provide chromebooks to students which is loaded with many educational programs (and games) that motivates my child to spend time daily to study. Commute is busy but not out-of control as some other schools are. Overall great elementary school.

Great School! Teachers are wonderful and very supportive. My son went to a nearby catholic school for kindergarten last year and had a very difficult time adjusting to Hillcrest. Great teachers, great kids, great staff! The children have opportunities at this school that I never had growing up in Art and Music. These are the things that excite my children. Kindergarten teachers are wonderful. High expectations for children and the school staff and office are very organized.

I have 2 children at Hillcrest. My son is in 3rd grade. I would have to say that, with the exception of his first grade teacher, I am much less than impressed with this school. Last year alone, the teacher managed to leave my son outside at dismissal alone with out supervision, and once in the class...
