Dubuque Senior has been a great school and I have loved the opportunities I've been given. I found good friends and have learned a lot in the time I have been here. There are some issues, such as students vaping in the bathroom and their is a lot of online gossip, but these are problems I have seen everywhere and it isn't necessarily the school's fault. Otherwise, the school is pretty well run and provides for the students.

My overall experience at Dubuque Senior High School was positive. Many of the teachers are well prepared and actively engage with their students and are ready to help if necessary. Some of the teachers are a bit lazier and lazily hand out busy-work. The facilities are good but many bathrooms are closed which is very inconvenient. If you take the right classes (ap classes) the school can prepare you for college pretty well too.

Dubuque Senior has great educational resources but lacks in other departments. For example admin is run very well and does not accommodate to students with behavior problems. The school building is outdated and there isn't enough surplus funding for the arts. Despite this there are plenty of college readiness classes and plenty of great teachers.

Find it extremely hard for students new to the area to get any fair shake at any of the Dubuque Iowa schools. Very Cliche

Very cliche school. Jocks, drama, and nerds. Makes me wanna puke. Teachers are amazing but the social life is down the toilet. Student doesn't do anything important. They are pretty much just there to do the grunt work. I quit stuco my sophomore year. Everyone is biased and are in love with senior....

I love this community! The staff and administration understand the kids and create a positive culture. No mater what kind of student you have or what they are interested in they will find a group of peers. The athletic coaches teach responsibility and respect. The teachers teach life skills and put...
