I transferred to this school this fall and have felt supported by faculty since I began the transfer process last spring. The environment is calm, I like the teachers, and I've encountered no issues with bullying or the like since the school year began.

The classes offered at Dunsmuir High are ones that I would expect at a continuation school. The teachers are very laxed on due dates, not much responsibility is placed on the students, work is very easy and not at all challenging, alot of time is wasted doing nothing because of the extra time due to block schedule. The workload is not at all what I expected for high school.

The food is alright. A lot of it this year has been frozen food which is terrible even though our culinary arts instructor is a chef and owns a few different restaruants. Before this year we had a different culinary arts teacher and she made very good food and took suggestions, plus the class consisted of the students making lunch which was very fun and very hands on.

Teachers were verbally abusive to students and diminished the confidence of already vulnerable students. I am now in university, and working in a computational chemistry research laboratory, but my success in life is purely in spite the experience I had as a student at this "school".
