GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think in light of all of the unprecedented issues that arose due to COVID, I believe our school/district did the best for the kids, with what they had. I believe the teachers were stellar and other than the end of my sophomore year, which was cut short, the rest of my high school education was good and prepared me for college and beyond.

My Children lost their father last year the kindness and support that they received was beyond words, both High school girls were able to remain all A students and my senior is in the top 10 of the class this year....I truly believe without the unique, kind and truly caring staff at this school, that would not have been possible after the devastation they experienced. I am so very thankful to be a part of this community and school system.

Durand High School was a pretty average school. There were many students that exceled but there were a lot of students that barely made it. I'm hopeful that the education I received there will be sufficient to help me in the future.

They also don't even have a school nurse! They also tend to punish the entire student body for the misbehavior or a handful of students, whic...
