I have attended Durant High School all 4 years of my career. Overall, the campus is excellent. The staff is willing to work with you as a student to set you up with the best possible education. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA because of their ability to work with me. I do wish that the sports programs and diversity in clubs were larger. I feel I am limited because of the small selection of opportunities.

I have gone to Durant schools my whole life. They have always supported me and given me the best opportunities. They make sure everyone has a safe learning environment. This is a really amazing school district!

Durant does a lot well but suffers from the same areas as many other Oklahoma schools. Academics are pretty good and there are a wide variety of extracurriculars. Athletics are not great, and the coaches all teach classes half heartedly.

The school focuses on core subjects with several electives for students to chose from. Technology is large part of the curriculum and can be seen in all areas of study from core subjects to almost all electives!
