GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience was disturbed by COVID. However, my overall experience with the challenges of a secluded area was admirable. My school was able to provide a thrilling and surprising experience while simultaneously preparing me for college.

Eagle River High School is a school with great academics. Most of the staff and facility are nice and always are sure to check on the well-being of their students. The only bad thing I'd have to say about the school is that there is major favoritism among certain students and it shows.

Eagle River is a great school in terms of community and safety. The teachers there work hard to engage students in the classroom and the guidance counselors accommodate every student. However, it lacks in classes, clubs, sports, and school spirit.

WE spent much of our time and money to come see our daughter play only to have her benched 90% of the time. Come to find out from my d...

My son transferred here as a junior when we moved to the area. We had heard that ERHS was one of the best in the district and we made our house purchase decision so he could attend here. We have been very happy with the experience he's having. The staff is great. He loves his teachers. We couldn't b...
