I chose to attend because I wanted a more diverse school environment, and while that remains true more and more issues have popped up over the years. Administration seems confused and poor communication has been a recurring problem the whole time I've gone here. Despite that, there is a very good sense of community and as a freshman I immediately felt like there was space for me. I've haven't had a really bad teacher, they all care about their job and the students.

The staff involvement was the most notable difference from my previous school, transferring to this school has enriched my life overall, though there have been a few bumps that have made it difficult to fully appreciate the school as a whole. I will say, however, that diversity is one of the school's best accomplishments, along with the food and the college courses.

The school Connecticut River Academy is a very good school for academics and college readiness. The part the school lacks is activity's and sports. Being able to connect with our teachers if we need help is also a bonus.
