With free college course options, dual enrollment through Macomb Community College, honors and AP programs, as well as multi-level support systems for students who need a boost, students at Eastpointe High School have a wide range of alternatives for taking control of their education. Culinary arts, medical occupations, law enforcement, marketing, and other fields are among the unique and diverse programs offered at EHS. Formerly known as East Detroit High School, Eastpointe High School serves just over 750 students in grades 9-12. Along with our regular course offerings, EHS provides students with a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as varsity and junior varsity sports in the Macomb Area Conference, student assemblies, National Honor Society, forensics, robotics, marching band, theater, art and more. Most notably, programs at Eastpointe High School support students in choosing their own path. Career technical education supports students in doing just that, guiding them toward their goals and desires. The cutting-edge, newly-launched health occupations cluster at EHS is meant to give students a solid foundation of knowledge to work in the health science sector. This cluster of courses offers classes in medical terminology, health science practicum, health science theology, and other topics. Through an articulation agreement with Macomb Community College, the course area also gives EHS students the opportunity to receive college credit. With such a large variety of engaging and meaningful programs, students at Eastpointe High School graduate with the knowledge and skills to excel in careers, college and beyond.

Overall it isn't super impressive. Academically we lack because we lack teachers and appropriate training at the school. Socially depending on the clique you're in, fights can occur every week or every other week. However, the Class of 2025 gets a long pretty well for the most part. We lack funds, so sometimes school lunches can be...not the best. But I think the relationship I have with the teachers and specific peers have made high school enjoyable.

Being at this school was fine. The only aspect of it that I didn't like was what Covid ruined. I never got a normal high school experience so it was t many things I could do. We need to find a way to get teachers and keep them. We also need to find a way to get more student involvement and interactions.

It was not the best experience of high school. The food wasnt that great neither where the teachers.The school administration tried their hardest.

I had to take my 10th grade daughter out of this school because the school is now performing at bottom of the barrow level.My daughter in her 9th grade year came home everyday to tell me how the class rooms were out of control and f-bombs aimed at the teachers everyday.Most of her classes were like...
