Pre-K–8 students attend Eaton Academy, a charter school in the Eastpointe neighborhood of Detroit Metro that thrives on its goal of educating kids for the future.
Eaton Academy uses a community-based approach to learning that integrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, data-driven training, and highly skilled teachers. This method gives each of the school’s 375 enrollees plenty of opportunities for self-expression and interesting extracurricular activities. Small class groups, extended hours, and free transportation allow families to learn and develop in a comfortable, warm environment.
Eaton Academy's aim is to support and encourage educators, families, the community, and corporate partners to contribute to kids' education by using technology, academic abilities, and creativity in a way that leads to lifelong learning or continuing education.
The school recognizes that every child learns differently, and every staff member has a responsibility to assist children in locating what works. The institution is altering how its students view education and their futures as a result.

They do not offer the state required courses like foreign language. The students there not receiving the instruction that they deserve.

The staff is great they are always there to you help you. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure you are understanding the topic they are talking about.

I have been working with Eaton Academy for two years, and the leadership has a clear mission for education and social-emotional betterment of scholars. It is the best school I have worked with, and it focuses first and foremost on students.

My experience this year at this school has been horrible. My children have been attending this school since they were in kindergarten. I am a three vet at this school and each year there has been a new principal as well as new staff every year. I do not like this school anymore.

The dyanamics, culture and school enviornement is just inconsistent and toxic. I strongly disagree with the students being below level and have serious issues as the problem.
