Located off Grant Avenue in Eatontown, Margaret L Vetter is a public elementary school belonging to Eatontown Public School District. Established in the 1950s, the school is named after Margaret L. Vetter, a dedicated teacher for 30 years and the school's first principal. Instrumental music is offered, and the school band performs at winter and spring concerts. Students can also be selected for the Gifted and Talented Program. The school also sets up various afterschool clubs at different times of the year. In 2007, Margaret L. Vetter School received the coveted Middle States Accreditation and currently places in the top 50% of all schools in New Jersey based on math and reading proficiency test data. The school's mission statement is to provide high-quality education for all learners to enable them to excel. Toby the Tiger, the school mascot, is revered and cheered by the students and parents alike.

My children have never loved school more. I'm an educator myself and have found that these are some of the best teachers and staff I've ever seen! We came from Middletown and had plenty of issues with bullying and now my kids feel like part of a family! It's truly amazing!

I loved this school when I attended in the 1960's. I have fond memories of Mrs. Waite's fourth grade class!

our son was new to the school this year & has had a wonderful 2nd grade experience. School not being so easy for him, the teachers have really helped him. He absolutely loves school now! Only negative is that there are only a handful of parents who volunteer & attend PTO. PTO needs a pep up!

Our daughter has attended this school for 3 years. The principal, office staff, teachers and misc employees all care for the children. They nurture them, teach them and challenge them to exceed.
