Eden Lake Elementary serves kindergarten through sixth grade students as part of the Eden Prairie Public School District, one of the highest performing school districts in the state.
Eden Lake Elementary emphasizes "creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and communication" in the classroom and the school's academic footprint is sustained by excellent teaching. Over 75 percent of the staff in the Eden Prairie Public School District hold a master's degree or higher.
An overview of Eden Lake's curriculum includes English language arts, personal management, health, art, world language, music, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education.
Advanced learning opportunities are available to second through sixth grade students in the school's KEY program and to third through sixth grade students in Eden Lake's MOSAIC program. Gifted students participate academically at a more accelerated rate, supported by teachers equipped to meet their scholastic and intellectual needs.
Each week students at Eden Prairie Elementary also enjoy band, choir or orchestra and the school district works to provide children with a variety of extracurricular programming and after school care that includes KinderCamp and Eagle Zone School Age Care.

Wonderful teachers, excellent Mosaic program , I could see lot of improvement in our kid. In this pandemic days teachers demonstrated a wonderful coordination. My kid enjoy food every single day in school. Could see lot of excellency in teaching methodology in mosaic program.

I open enroll my children to Eden Lake. I appreciate the friendly teachers and the diversity of the student population. I like that there is a robust gifted and talented program as well as a strong student support services program.

Excellent! I think the ratings on this site are misleading, and I would encourage prospective parents to reach out to other parents at the school and check other rating websites like niche as well. The teachers we have had experience with here are incredibly caring and the principal is awesome.

Right now it's average. Unfortunately the inconsistency on teaching approaches is disappointing. My daughter had 2 horrible years and 2 fantastic years. We never know what we are going to get.

My both kids go to Eden Lake elementary school.
