I personally really enjoy being a student at EVCA. But it is definitely different than most schools and is an acquired taste. I do not like how there are no sports at my school and that there are very few clubs. I do wish we had theater open to everyone and not just the students who have taken the drama or choir electives in prior semesters. Overall it is a very good school and pushes students to be their best. EVCA just really struggles with fun.

The school would benefit from improvements in parent and student communication and improving the quality of the creative arts classes.

Estancia Valley Classical Academy was a school set up with a great idea. that was to provide a rigorous education with a focus on the classics. for example Latin and ancient Greek were options for study along with classical Greek literature and philosophy. the ideals that the school set up of character honesty respect integrity etc. were great and the art and books that lined the halls stimulated thought. however the school had a few flaws its low funding meant that teaching positions often only had a one year contract meaning opportunity to be renewed was slim. throughout my education there I saw much turnover. additionally poor administration led to discontent within the student body. over all my education at EVCA was a positive but it was not without its struggles.
