From state championship athletics to dynamic educational pathways for diverse learning styles, Edina High is a competitive school choice that’s “defining excellence” in Minnesota. Academic opportunities include the Edina Virtual Pathway, an online experience that connects students with faculty in online classrooms. Virtual Pathway is an opportunity for students who may experience challenges in the standard classroom or who wish to attend Edina High but live in another area of the state. Summer school programming and the Extended Year program promote year-round learning and enrichment. Students can also enroll in Advanced Placement classes and study in the engineering and computer science department. For students who need additional support, a rich special education program provides individualized education plans and adaptive assistance. The Edina High Hornets have won nearly 200 state championship titles. Interested students can explore dozens of athletics to participate in individual or team competitions. The Hornets also participate in band competitions, orchestra performances and theatrical productions. A diverse set of clubs, from a speech team to a robotics club, add to the rich community of Edina High School.

Edina has given me lots of experience working with many different character types and gaining team working abilitys. The school puts a lot of focus on grades, sports and many other aspects for students to be well rounded. The school also provides many different unique courses to enroll for many interests.

Both our children went to the Edina public schools K-12 and both flourished as a result of the experience. An absolutely stunning building with incredible resources! Staff is very helpful and connects well with the students. The education is very impressive and they have a tutor center for people feeling confused. The teachers provide time outside of class for students struggling and the school provides...

I have had 3 children graduate from Edina HS. All three did very well in their post high school studies and are successful professionals and have wonderful outlook towards life. I give Edina HS, a A+ on their part for leading my children towards a successful path.

I think we should be stunned that Great Schools claims to offer relevant ratings. Anyone can post a review without proof of participation in the school community. How is this helpful? I wish this site would be held accountable. That said, Edina High School has been great for our youngest daughter.
