Battle Mountain High School is an excellent public school in Edwards, Colorado. The teachers are phenomenal, and if you seek out a challenging course load, you will get a fantastic education. Plentiful AP and DE courses allow students to prepare for college and earn credit. The athletics at Battle Mountain High School are also excellent. Students can partake in a wide variety of sports that have a rich history of success.

One of the best things that Battle Mountain does is have the counselors check in with every student. They also have a wide variety of students from different places. I want the passing periods to be longer than 4 mins because some students come from the gym and they need to go upstairs which would be possible if there weren't students going down and others trying to go up and then there are students who stand in front or on the stairs to chat with their friends. I would also like for the smart pass to be removed. there are circumstances where we need more than 5 minutes, it's also not a good idea to have students wait an hour before being able to make another pass. Having students ask then fill out a pass should also change because it could be an emergency and we would still have to create a pass.

I love Battle Mountain High School. At the school there are many opportunities to challenge yourself, to grow, leadership roles you can achieve, and so many ways to have fun. The culture of revision was implemented at our school which can be helpful because you can have opportunities to revise.
