The music program and Elgin High School is amazing. The teacher is very empathetic and works with each student individually. I love going to school here mainly for the amazing music program. Teachers are mostly really nice and understanding and make sure that if you need help with work they will do all they can to help you get it done. Classes are fairly easy to keep up in as long as you put in the effort. Sports don't do the best here and its mainly students having issues with the coaches and how they lead their team. I have really enjoyed my time here and have learned a lot. There are a few thing I would change like making it easier for students to learn about college options early. I have had to begun my college search on my own and have had little guidance apart from my mom. It would be nice to feel more prepared for what will happen senior year and what I will need to be prepared for especially in my senior project since we have had no guidance.

I've really enjoyed my time at Elgin High School, the different clubs and activities that they offered truly made a huge difference to my experience. They have a large and very successful music program as well as athletic.
