GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers for Elida are very good and most of them have the students as their main priority. The administration is often a different story.

I truly loved my experience Elida High School. Not only are the girl's sports teams ultra-competitive, but also the size is so small that you are able to personally know the staff. I loved having one-on-one ability with the teachers to be able to excel in academics. They are so flexible with any kind of student which enables them to push each student to their full potential. Since it is small, there is not a lot of variety in the classes you are able to take, but they have the necessities.

Elida HS may be small, but the administration and staff all care deeply about each individual student's education. The classes are very small so there is always 1/1 between the teacher and student. I drive 25 miles per day so my child can attend this school - Love it!
