GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Wirt County High School is the perfect school for me, I get one on one help. All of the staff is involved and very easy to talk to. If there is a problem, I feel very comfortable talking to any one my teachers. The classes at Wirt County are usually about 15-20 students per classroom. We get the opportunity to express our love for Jesus at GAP on Fridays. Wirt County High School is the perfect school for me.

WCHS has a special kind of atmosphere, the people are all wonderful and with the school being so small you foster relationships with everyone. Wirt county as a whole doesn't have much to do but the school puts on events to make up for that. There are committees, clubs and sports you can join, the office and help desk both offer student positions to learn how things are done and all the staff is very kind. They make sure that if you want to do something that they try their very hardest to make it happen. I couldn't ask for a better environment or better people.
