GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I graduated here in 2023 and I was kinda a person that people knew but didn't really talk much but I did attend the Carter County University, I was one of the first few to graduate in it in 2023 so that was pretty cool!

I felt as though the staff did not care about my academic journey. They would rather fund the football team than to distribute funding to better food and classroom environments. They also did a poor job at disciplining students and bullying was very prevalent.

We turn up. If you think the teachers hate you, you're probably just being a heathen. Get involved, actually try, and you'll have the best time of your life.

Wonderful school and staff! We've had nothing but great teachers / staff and they care about their students going above and beyond for each student. We are proud to be a Warrior family

I can't say enough positive things about this school. My daughter has not seen any violence or bullying at this school. The "drug" use she has heard about is smoking cigarettes/vaping. My daughter has a history of being bullied or excluded in the past and has felt accepted here. The teachers are fan...

I would rate my experience as TERRIBLE. Violence and drugs are rampant. Teachers and administrators turn a blind eye to everything. Education is the least important.
