i attended Unaka high School nearly three years ago and only have great things to say about my experience. The educators are amazing and the curriculum is second to none. Each student was meet with nothing but pure encouragement as they attended school at Unaka.

I had a great experience with academics. All of my teachers did an excellent job. I was well prepared for my ACT and for college classes. I did have issues with the guidance councilor. She did not help me with any scholarship opportunities or anything else. She is not well trained in college applications and scholarships.

Unaka high school now has many extracurricular activities to get involved in and there is surprisingly good amount of school spirit involved in everything we do. Unfortunately there is not enough funding for all the clubs to reach their full potential, but other than that it is a great school.

Horrible. The teachers are rude and some say bad things behind students backs. The staff are horrible.

I graduated from Unaka I did go all four years and this school is amazing they focus on the students and make sure the teachers are doing there jobs! there was a different Spanish teacher every year if that says something! the English department was beyond stressful but I learned a lot! GO! Mr.Ward!...
