The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

Santa Cruz Valley High School is a very strict but well educating shook. It has a lot of rules and regulations that help shape the school into a better environment. There is the use of uniforms which reduces the bullying or any gang-related issues etc.

Santa Cruz is an average school, I feel we don't have much resources, but they try to use the little we do have as best as possible. My experience has been great, I have experienced many traditional high school things like going to games, volunteering, and showing school pride, things like that.

Being in Eloy since I was a little girl, Santa Cruz has been a huge part of my life. Not only because it will be the school that hands me my diploma, but because the experience rewarded me with a sense of responsibility and guidance towards a new chapter in my life. I was given the opportunity to flourish in a community that supported me and the people I have grown up with. The faculty, the staff, the students, they always found a way to make you feel comfortable at Santa Cruz. I know that if I were able to go back in time, even for the slightest second, I wouldn't change any of it.
