I have had a great experience at Elyria High School. Being involved in clubs and athletics since jr high and all throughout my high school years kept me focused and set goals for myself each year. The teachers are helpful and are always willing to listen.

I open rolled through Elyria high school in order to do the early college high school program that is at Lorain County community college. I've had an overall decent experience with Elyria high school. all of the teachers that left Elyria high school to teach at early college are amazing and very helpful..

The Elyria City Schools offers a wide range of classes for general education as well as many Honors and AP options and dual enrollment classes. They have over 60 clubs that all students are welcome to join. Their band, drama, and other arts programs are second to none. They send children to the top...

I attended this school for one year and immediately transferred out. It is a culture of mediocrity. Examples: A guidance counselor told me to "take the easy A" when I told them my math class was too easy and wanted to advance, halfway through the school year they brought in an "emergency" sub teach...

I honestly think that they need to treat their teachers better than what they do because they have so much potential and so much they can teach and share with our children who cares if it isn't an 'up to date' way of teaching in the principles book if the kids are learning and enjoying who cares????...
