San Dieguito Academy's culture is to be a welcoming community for everyone. While as with any high school, it's not perfect, I've found that a lot of different types of people find friends here. It is known for being a theater school and it doesn't have cheer or traditional football. It has many other sports offered and they perform well.

The atmosphere at San Dieguito Academy is unlike anywhere else. I can't imagine any other school being so welcoming. The students and faculty alike are kind, friendly, and open-hearted. I feel incredibly privilaged to attend this school.

Excellent academic and sports school. Great diversity and well rounded students. School counselors and teachers were very engaged with the students and truly interested in their well being.

All of my children have found success at SDA. My children have been supported by their teachers, their schedules, and the school environment. My children are motivated by their teachers and they have found a kind, intellectual, and worldly friend group.

My daughter just finished her 1st year at SDA and it was a very good experience. She found great friends, did well in her classes, joined a few clubs, and joined a sports team. We were attracted to the school because there are a variety of honors and AP classes so that my daughter will be competitiv...

The learning experience was excellent! All three of my children chose SDA, and all we’re happy that they did. All three got into top university of California schoolsBlown away that the school is not rated 10 out of 10, I think they are getting dinged because of the demographics of the area

The 4x4 schedule allows for students to take only four courses a semester - giving them time to focus on those courses like college rather than juggling 6-7. If your child is going to take AP courses, this is an advantage because they are not taking them all at once (!) but can take 1-2 per semester...
