GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been attending Ephrata since the 2nd grade. I have not always enjoyed going to school but once I got older, I realized I enjoyed school more while taking classes I actually enjoyed. Sometimes I feel some of the teachers at this school do not do a great job teaching us. Overall, as a senior in high school, I am excited to graduate but at the same time I am sad because I fear I will miss high school.

I did not enjoy high school however I do attend Brownstown CTC which I absolutley love. At Ephrata, I have made many friends and learned a lot. My favorite class I have taken was Intro to Agriculture which taught us wood working, welding, electrical and small engines. This was the first step to me finding my dream job of being an architectural drafter.

Offers many programs geared towards what each individual student wants to do when they graduate. Not just the normal push for college. So many elective classes. Teachers and staff that care for the students.

The Arts in Ephrata are spectacular, but the school itself still has lots of wiggle room in their budgeting skills (Their art programs are poorly funded, the teachers usually have to fund it themselves.) The par...
