Founded in 1998 with just 28 students, the Episcopal School of Knoxville has grown into a thriving academic community with almost 400 students on a 96-acre campus in Knoxville, Tennessee’s Hardin Valley neighborhood.
Boasting a student-teacher ratio of 9:1 and an average class size of just 12 students, ESK serves students in preschool through eighth grade. While the school is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools, students from all backgrounds are welcome to apply. In fact, only 25 percent of the students at ESK are members in an Episcopal church. ESK students do participate in a daily chapel service and take part in several community service projects throughout the year.
In addition to academics, ESK has more than 20 teams competing in a dozen sports, including clay target shooting, soccer, flag football, golf, and bowling. A robust fine arts program allows students to participate in music, pottery, sketching, silk screen printing, and 3D modeling.
Following eighth grade, ESK helps its students find the best possible high school placement, whether that’s in a private or public setting, as they realize their potential as capable global citizens.

I went to ESK from kindergarten to 8th grade. I can safely say it's not a great school academically nor athletically. Students are not well mannered and no teachers bother to care.

Bullying in this school is tolerated and the Tribes agreement is a joke. The school does not uphold the culture that is marketed to prospective students.
