GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Erath High School is in a smaller town, forming a close-knit community. This makes our school easier to navigate and allows everyone to know each other. I love how we care for each other, regardless of the circumstances. I do not like how limited we are in resources and money. This limits our interests, and we cannot fully indulge in activities we take pride in.

its a good school, the structure could use some work but the school is good the teachers allow the students to talk to each other and help one another when they are struggling

Erath High School is a small town school, so everyone knows each other. For Erath, born and raised, this leads to a tight-knit community. For outsiders, it leads to outcasting. Overall, the teachers and staff are amazing. I would like to see a change in communication at Erath High. Communication is lacking on many fronts, and this causes confusion for students, teachers, and parents alike.

Please read this if you even think about sending your child to Erath. I'm currently going to this school, and as for someone who has had relatives who go there, and has asked them or their opinion on this too, this school is not worth it. The teachers, more often than not, don't care about what you...

Please read this if you are considering enrolling at EHS. This school proudly boasts it is the number one high school in the state yet no google search can back up these claims. (I’m still looking into the validity of them myself). As of January 2020 the school’s majority of classrooms take place in...

I only had one of my children attend this school. He didn't have a good experience. He witnessed teachers talking down to students (you're not going to do anything good with your life). He tried to help a teacher by saying that she was on the wrong page and he got fussed at saying, "don't correct an...

This school has achieved so much for being in such a small town! The school s performance score of 140.8 a nearly 20-point improvement over the prior year has it labeled an A+ school and ranked as the top nonselective public school in the state, according to Louisiana Department of Education ranking...
