Kids that come from this High School are not as well prepared as students from the local public schools. It is well known that students who leave this school and attend the local public school are not prepared for the rigor of the top local high school. The grade for sports should be an F. They only have XC and they continually say that they will add other sports which they don't and they keep telling people they will build new sports facilities. (not going to happen anytime soon) It has been proposed that all high school students get a bump up on their grading so they can show colleges that they have higher GPAs. (earn a B get an A). They say its because of the academic rigor. Give me a break. These students are not as well prepared as the students from South Eugene. Its not even close. Do not spend the money. They make an effort to diversify the student body by bringing in financially well off exchange students (its for the money).

I don't like oak hill at all. There is a very certain mold you must fit to "fit in" at oak hill, the kids who say "No one at oak hill fits in" are the kids who do fit in. The education is good but the social aspect is awful. I find that from middle school to high schools the kids are racist, homophobic, transphobic, and sexist. The kids at oak hill are mostly white and the administration overeacts about very small things. For the academic aspect of oak hill you are very prepared but as far as socially you will be lost. The food is disgusting and over priced and the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. The school is always dirty and the staff blames the student. The window was once not cleaned for weeks after there was whipped cream smeared on it and a student got so sick of it they cleaned it themselves. I do not recommend oak hill for any higher than elementary school.

We absolutely love the peaceful environment and feel it allows our child to be a child while encouraging and nurturing inquiry and learning. We've found the specialists and teachers to be engaged, creativ...

I enjoyed this school the staff is very caring. I feel this very good school where kids learn to respect all the nationalities and color. Staff is very caring and pushes the kids who are really gifted. Principal is also trying hard to implement good programs. This is often neglected school because o...

I can't think of a safer, more wholesome environment for my son. The teachers are happy, inspired, and creative. The 72 acre grounds are majestic. This is a school that offers the best college preparatory education outside of Portland. Foreign language begins in kindergarten with French, Spanish and...
