My overall experience being at Clear creek High School was great! I have connected a lot with peers and teachers over my years there. It is a safe environment engaging in academics. It paved my way to pursue my career I want to learn in college.

The music program is great We are very small but everyone tries hard and has fun. My freshman year we competed in a small school band festival and we got the highest possible score. The chior program has been struggling due to a change in teacher every year. The school doesn't want to pay a teacher to be full time chior teacher and most teachers are not okay with that after the first year. My least favorite part of the school is probably the bathrooms. There was a big issue with vandalism for a while. Some of the things vandalized have not been fixed after over a year. There is also excessive along and smoking in the bathrooms making it hard to use the restroom or wash your hands. Some of the sinks do not work or only have really hot water.

The teachers were never treated very well and I have seen more teachers leave than the amount of classed I've had. The school is improving but it is still a disaster. The school board does not seem to care about it's students and has spent copious amounts of money on unnecessary things like a brand new $3 million football field when the school given chrome books barely work. The school also does not handle mental health very well and the councilor has not helped with college prep for the students. The school also handled the COVID pandemic very poorly and we were quarantined back to back for months in the fall of 2020 and spring of 2021.

We moved to Evergreen in 2021 and picked this school over EHS and CHS. We liked the small size and welcoming atmosphere.
