What I like about Excel academy charter high school is that although the school is somewhat small it feels like everyone knows eachother and we arent just strangers put together in a building. Being at this school for 4 years has forced me to put myself out there and make new friends and build relationships with the teachers as well. Another thing I really like about this school is that you can tell the teachers care and I feel like they did a good job hiring staff because everyone fits their role perfectly. I have had negative experiences with teachers in the past from my old school and they didn't seem to genuinely care about each individual student sometimes they wouldn't even bother to remember something as simple as their own students names. But in excel teachers from my previous years still remember my name and say hi to me in the halls.

Excel Academy has excellent schools in East Boston and Chelsea. The school works hard to build lifelong relationships with its students and the community. They care so much about helping their students. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a strong academic program that supports all students to achieve their goals.

The teachers are very good at making sure the content is understandable. The small school size allows for a lot of bonding, and the staff try to make school as enjoyable as possible. That being said, staff need to take student opinions more into account.

Great school. Fantastic team of educators. MCAST scores have drop a bit and the school ranks has dropped from top 3 to 13 in school-digger.com but it's still a very good education. I hope they "strap up" again and regain their spot. Highly recommended...IF you can get it
