I am an employee at Exeter High School in special ed. Department and I can honestly say it is the best public high school I've ever had the opportunity of being at. Teachers go above and beyond for their students.

Exeter High School is known for its Football and overall involvement with the Trade School Seacost School of Technology in Exeter NH. Academic wise you have to know that you're good at... You're either in CP (College Prep) or Honors. If you are below CP you're behind or that is what they want you think. They are advocates for "5th year seniors". That is the one thing I'm afraid I have to disagree with. On the other hand, you have wonderful teachers and staff. Its a hit or miss with the district.

Overall, this high school is more focused on funding their sports teams than caring about the education of the students. It's quite often that available funds will go towards unnecessary new sports gear instead of obvious issues that students see everyday.

EHS is well run, and only lacks some decency in its upper leadership

Lacks diversity in student and teacher population. However lots of transplants from all over the country and massachusetts is changing that. Better communication between school and family could really improve student outcome. Great school with plenty to offer all types of students.

Awful. I've never been to school with such a toxic environment. The school pretends to be judgment free, while its the complete opposite. I was offered no support from the administration or my peers when I was going through a rough patch. There is no sense of communtiy or any sense of compassion for...

Outstanding school. Certainly top 5 of all the public schools in NH. Also basically brand new --- built about 10 years ago and is state of the art and beautiful inside and out.
