GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think it a pretty good school, attending for three years now I could say I've grown as a person, some of the faculty has helped me as a student. Very calm chill school to be honest.

I joined freshman year coming from a much smaller school and it's been a great experience overall. I've had excellent teachers for the most part and I've made a ton of great friends here. Tons of classes to choose from as well as clubs and other extracurriculars.

This school is miserable and offers no support to students that are not white and Jewish. If your child is of any other race, or of any other religious practice, they will without fail experience mistreatment even if they are the most intellectual student in the building. It is sad to see how unfair...

Fair Lawn High is under rated compared to the schools in the area such as Ridgewood High and Glen Rock but can stand with them toe to toe as far as curriculum and extra curricular activities are concerned. They have an excellent program which prepares the teens for the next level.

Graduate of here and have a couple ivy league degrees to boot. I think the Fair Lawn school system prepared me well for post-secondary education.
