The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is not for me. It is extremely overcrowded, the students are inconsiderate, and the teachers don't seem to care about the student's feelings. The education I have gotten has been poor, we are behind many other schools. On the flip side, there are some very good exploratory classes and the hallways are pretty clean.

Longfellow Middle School is an amazing school. The principal has won numerous awards and she is very on top of things. However, some of the teachers could use more training. They are pretty strict and claim to be preparing the kids for high school when in reality we had much more freedom in high school.

We had anonymous sites to report bullying and anything that concerned us and the counselors were always open no matter what.

Also, the studen...

As a parent, the teachers communicate appropriately and are great at responding when I have questions. Additionally, the school administration, counselor...

LMS is a horrible school. LMS does not care about the mental health of it's students.LMS's ridiculously early start time stresses students out. 2 years at LMS are miserable for students. LMS's test scores are not because of it's teachers. It is because of expensive programs and tutors outside of LMS...
