GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, the school is a very diverse community with sports and clubs to help kids stay active and engaged. We have a great academic program that allows kids to succeed in many ways. The teachers and staff work well with students to help them understand and obtain information , and they are very welcoming and help students with every day living as well.

I had a good experience at Fallsburg Junior/Senior High School. It has its ups and downs but the thing that I enjoyed the most was the faculty. The teachers at this school care about the well being of their students both academically and as a friend.

Fallsburg CSD is probably one of the most diverse schools in the New York area. All thought it isn't the cleanest or nicest place to send your kids, it does give them the experience to witness all different types of people. Because the school is so small it also is very easy to become very close with teachers and other staff. Academics may not be the best in Fallsburg, but it definetly gives students real world experiences.

This school is not a pretty bad school. The teachers always help you with everything! Every new kid gets accepted and make new friends quickly, and if doesn't matter what race you are, you will be accepted! And the teachers really get you!

I give parent involvement a 2 stars because, parents are usually rushed through phone calls and meeting. they try there best to get there point across and limit parent input. so parent involvement is almost does not exist here. This school is 1 of 4 in New York State where teachers don't want to be...
