Warner Middle School serves sixth through the eighth graders in Farmington with a diverse curriculum and engaging classroom experiences that encourage students to become "self-sufficient and respectful citizens." Promoting academic excellence, Warner Middle School is committed to achieving high literacy and math proficiency rates to prepare students for successful college careers. Students improve their math and reading skills meeting with teachers before and after school and during lunch breaks, and through Warner Middle School's learning intervention program, WIN. Teachers also use interactive digital projectors, Google Apps, and other online resources to increase technology use in the classroom. Students enhance their core curriculum studying music, art, theater and world languages, and 50% of Warner Middle School students participate in band, orchestra or choir, performing concerts throughout the school year. Warner Middle School's Positivity Project allows students to contribute to the welfare of others, learning the value of service through food drives and fundraisers, and many clubs and activities offer students enrichment opportunities including the Kindness Club, Card Club, Ski Club and Junior Optimist Club. The purple and white Vikings conquer the competition in basketball, wrestling, football, cross country and track. At Warner Middle School students are victorious and valiant learners.

My child has been attending this school for 3 years. It’s a great school academically and we love her teachers. She has been in choir all three years. We are very happy with the school thus far!

I would rate my personal experiences with this school very poorly. Half of the electives are busy work with not much academics. The administration of this school pushes for grade inflation to make themselves look better. Students are not properly disciplined, and adding to that, if you take one step...

The academics are poor, many of the electives are simply a waste of learning time and the constant issues of retesting show that content just isn't something teachers are pushing for.
