My experience at Mid-Buchanan Senior High has been welcoming, and comforting in a close community. The parents and teachers are very involved in sports, and clubs. However, the variety of class options are low, and I don't feel prepared for college. Many students aren't engaged in classes and a lot of times we do busy work.

I've attended Mid-Buchanan for many years now, ever since kindergarten. Being able to have friendships and relationships that thrive throughout so many years is a great experience and is very welcoming. The atmosphere at my school is great and the emphasis on learning and sports is amazing and encouraging.

I've gone to Mid-Buchanan my whole life, and have been very blessed with this community. It's a small school with super supportive staff. Our teachers and coaches are very talented. Students are able to actively participate in almost any sport or extra-curricular activity they want, without being penalized in other areas. Most students leave prepared for life after, but also with bitter-sweet goodbyes.

We have a daughter at Mid-Buchanan and we are very happy with her education and teacher quality. The parents and the staff are very involved and give the children many educational opportunities.

I agree with the parent's review (see 2006 review). The school hires ex-students to teach there so the 'good old boy' attitude continues. I have seen good, talented students put behind the students that their parents are on the school board and/or was a jock at the school years ago and now expect th...
