Counterpane is a fantastic school. It's the only choice for our family. The environment, culture, and support of the community is unparalleled. Our child has been here for over a year and he is much more independent, has a great supportive community, and looks forward to going to school every day.

I visited Counterpane looking for a school for my toddler to begin. I fell in love with the community and environment at Counterpane. On my tour the lower school children greeted me and showed me around and I was impressed with their interpersonal skills and independence while learning. Since my child has been enrolled I have seen her blossom with her language skills and her awareness of health and safety. Knowing that she is learning about nature and animals and building her life- skills was a top selling point for me. I recommend this school to any of my friends or family in the area often.

Perfect place for my child with anxiety. It's quiet. Flexible. Nurturing self-direction in the students. Kind of a life-saver for me as a parent. I just wish I'd known about it when my child was young instead of starting in middle school. The younger children there are kind of amazing.
