GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love BCHS. I've made a ton of close friends and have had a great academic experience. The faculty is great and are very inclusive to all races, genders, etc.

Boone is a lot different than most people think. It unfortunately has a bad reputation and is talked down on a lot but I'm here to tell you its the exact opposite. The teachers go the extra mile to make you feel heard and feel assured. With recent renovations, the school looks good as new. The students here really know how to keep to themselves so conflict is little to none.

Our college and job readiness counselor helped me get my first job. I like that when I was too nervous to join a full classroom in freshman year when I moved back to Kentucky, I was given the opportunity to be put in a small program within the school to do classes with just a few people and extra help from my teachers. I love that all the students and teachers are nice, it was a very welcome change after I was bullied at my old schools. There were lots of opportunities to make friends, and all the classes were very lively and fun. Overall one of the best schools I've gone to.

This is a great school and I am glad to have my students enrolled here. One has received a full scholarship because of the work done at Boone. The other is well on the way.
