Florence-Carlton high school has a great atmosphere which welcomes student-athletes as well as being flexible and able to assist them when needed. The culture of the classroom is more calm and very electronically centered when it comes to school work. There are many resources available for all students whenever they are necessary. Most of the teachers are amazing and willing to help as much as possible. Some are not as helpful and some don't tend to interact all that much with the students. This makes it hard to learn at some points. I have been at Florence since kindergarten and overall it has been a good experience and I can't imagine going to any other school.

My overall experience at Florence was a good one. I attended Florence for almost my whole life. I left for a couple years, but came back. When I left I attended a much bigger school. I liked the small town community of Florence. It was easy to get one one help from your teachers if needed. The class sizes are small and you know everyone in your class. I wish there were a few more academic and sport choices. They tried to provide online courses to supplement what they were unable to provide.

I've attended Florence since Kindergarten. My elementary teachers were spectacular, my middle school teachers were supportive, but often, withe exceptions, I felt like the teaching methods weren't very effective. I've loved attending Florence in High School. I learn well, I pass AP exams, my teacher...

Our school District is struggling with declining enrollment which is creating an overload of Teachers and Administration. Our All-day Kindergarten program is nothing much beyond a glorified daycare. Fundamental curriculum is lacking in K-2.
