I truly believe West gives all the students the resources they need in order to become successful. The STEM program is truly one of it's kind and they do a great job at preparing students for the course work that they will encounter in college.

One of my favorite high school memories was when a group of us decided to have a picnic on the school's football field during lunch. We all brought our lunches and blankets and enjoyed the beautiful weather while chatting and laughing together. It was a simple activity, but it was so much fun to spend time with my friends in a new and unexpected way.

The teachers and staff are great with helping the students achieve there goals. They could work on those teachers and staff members who don't make a great connection with the students. There is always going to be those few that look down on you. But overall the school is safe and everyone helps when you ask. I have gone there for four years now and would't go to another if I had a choice.

The administration has NO CONTROL. Kids ditch campus during lunch on a regular basis. Fights are commonplace. Facilities are absolute garbage. Carpet hasn't been changed since the school's founding in 1970. Most of the bathroom's plumbing is broke. At the time of this writing, there is only like TWO...

extremely rude staff, rude to children and parents. The carpets have'nt been changed ever since the school was built and they are duct taped to the floor.
