GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts of my experience at Floresville High School are my classes and extracurricular activities. I love my teachers and directors. I want the administration and counselors to seem more approachable because in my experience, they're a little out of reach for the students.

One of the best things I have personally enjoyed at Floresville High school is the career pathways I have been able to follow. I have gone through Agriculture, Horticulture, Welding. Not only are you able to choose between multiple different pathways but the paths are able to be varied depending on your preference of class. The only downside I can mention is the size of classes. They are too big in my opinion.

I enjoyed playing football. The teachers and coaches care about the students. The administrators work to provide a good education for the students.

The principal changes canpuses every 2-3 years. The campuses he leads consistently score well below average.

They do not prepare the students for higher education. Most students end up having to take remedial courses just to prepare to take the actual college courses.Advisers do not guide the students, at all.

School aspects are good but there could be some improvements

If you like small minds and small town politics in the school, then this is YOUR school! However, if you want your child to attend a place that is fair and inclusive for every student, even those who are not native to Floresville, then you want to avoid moving here and/or sending your kid here.
