One of the best things about QSI is the early college program. As high school students we have the opportunity to earn up to an associates degree while in high school. The school provides metro/omny cards for students traveling to and from Queens College. Something I'd like to see change is the consistency with events. We've had many events/things in the school such as "parliaments" or color wars but they tend to change every year. It would be nice for something to stay consistent for a couple years.

I enjoyed going to this high school. My favorite part was the community of the school and how close everyone was. It made me comfortable to ask for help. I also enjoyed that I got to take classes at Queens college and accumulated almost 40 credits before even being an official freshmen in college. The college readiness is excellent and made me choose Queens College to officially go to for the Fall Semester. Something I wish could change is certain protection and prejudice some teachers may have. I felt as though teachers would take another teachers word over a students which was upsetting. I'd like to see more fairness and for counselors to get more advisement on how to handle certain situations.

The Queens School of Inquiry is a 6-12 school that helped me start my journey towards college. Not only do I have a chance to take college classes, I'm working on my resume. The teachers are extremely helpful and are capable of teaching the material they know. This school is a small school and it allows for better connections to be made peer to peer and student to teacher. The school feels like a family.

The administration has good intentions but falls short in most areas.

this school lured parents and students into their school but there was nothing special about this school. It is small and they lack resources. Leadership leaves a lot to be desired.

The most important thing is my child's happiness and my child is very happy at queens school of inquiry or as they call it QSI. The staff is always very nice and communicate a lot with us parents. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews, those people must not have experienced other schools out t...
