Everyone can find someone here. There is not really any sort of outcasting because everyone just finds their people. There are tons and tons of different opportunities and clubs to join no matter what you like. The teachers are for the most part really caring and there is a lot of programs in place to prevent you from doing bad. Overall a pretty good school.

From what I've noticed over the past 3-4 years I've been at Townsend is how administration sometimes fails to hold students accountable, especially when the student is favored and or often involved with the school and faculty. Overall strong academics, they have a club for anyone and everyone, they prepare you for college early on in junior year, the food is nothing special.

Townsend Harris is one of the better high schools and I am grateful to have gone to it. The students are overall pretty welcoming as far as high schoolers go and the school culture focuses on academics a lot more than other schools. While I didn't enjoy all my teachers or all the staff, some of the best teachers I've known work there. Administration has a history of sweeping controversies under the rug though.

terrible. The teachers never give lesson or prepare their student to take tests. They expect students to prepare on their own since 59 percent take summer prep school. Therefore the one who does not will fall behind. There are no help you are on your own.

Very challenging, students are very competitive and teachers regard their students with care and respect. Homework and tests require students to be really focused.

Townsend Harris High School is filled with pompous teachers with little regard for their students. Teachers at Townsend Harris High School overload the students under the disguise of "getting students college ready" (practically drill this message into the student's head!). NEWS FLASH- The students...
