GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I am almost positive the teachers/admin staff who work here hate their jobs and the community they serve. The administrative staff here has power trip you would not believe. It's a shame for the teachers that do come to school every day to make a difference. The way the school operates is terrible. The first chance we get to run from the school we are sprinting. People in the community send their kids to schools elsewhere and the teachers that work there do not live in the community nor send their children to the schools. That should tell you something. The athletics department is going down the drain as well.

Ridley wasn't isn't a bad school by any means but it's a rather disconnected school in terms of faculty-to-student. Most members understand students' issues/ troubles. But most aren't going to attempt to understand the worries of the employees/students there are lots of issues .

Diversity in the school is lacking. Majorly white school in a white town. Lots of boisterous kids now. Underclassmen do not know how to act properly. Many students do not know when to and not to disrupt class. Would like to see different policies like the bathroom policy. 5 chances to go in a marking period is outrageous. Need bathroom monitors, not this policy.

Students aren't engaged in the learning. Consistent bullying with teacher's doing nothing. No safety precautions at all. So many fights. It's not a great school. The only reason I give it three stars is because the teachers are pretty good.

This school does talk about no bullying but they don’t do anything when told about a bully except talk to them for a few minutes also the school has rats in the lunch room I’ve seen one myself , many of the teachers/workers have favorites and most of the students have drama or feel unsafe.
