GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Course selection is like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates. Doesn't matter what classes you sign up for, it's rare if you'll get all the ones you want or even get ANY you want

My experience at Forest City Regional seems to be like any other high school. I've been going to Forest City since I was in Pre-K. I've learned so much here and the teachers there are amazing! They teach us in a way that we listen. They use jokes and that's what make me pay attention. What I feel like they can do better is teaching us how to live on our own and getting us ready for college.

I love my history classes. I have a teacher who listens to us and gives us hands- on projects and opportunities to participate in class lessons. He keeps things interesting for us. I wish all teachers would teach the same way he does. I am not thrilled with the dress code. I can understand that the school board doesn't want us wearing dirty or torn clothing. They expect us to look neat and clean. But I do believe we should be able to be comfortable. I don't understand why we can't wear jeans and tee shirts. I know a rule is a rule and I do follow the rules. I just wish they would be a little less harsh with our dress code.

I've elaborated on this already under the other questions, so I'll keep things very brief. There were good moments for sure, and I can't claim I didn't learn a thing, but the biggest thing Forest City ever did for me was making me wonder what could've been if I had never attended it.
