Overall, I see Fort Hamilton as a large and diverse school. One thing that I wish was offered more was a broader variety of AP classes that students can take based on majors that they could possibly be interested in. The school offers workshops for students and parents which is great, bumping parent involvement to a 3. In general, it's a good school but is somewhat lacking in vigorous classes compared to other schools in NYC.

I currently attend this high school , its not the worst but definitely not the best , majority of the teachers are very rude and the administration , the English department is the best part and the math is the worst , favoritism is a big factor as well.

I feel like this school doesn’t really encourage academic success because some of the more ambitious students aren’t provided with the materials they need to succeed

I had two children in this school and it was absolutely horrible. Teachers are impossible to get in contact with. The only time you actually do hear from a teacher is when something negative happens with your child, and even that takes them time. They do not allow children to use the restroom, drugs...

not happy at all! I expect more from this school. If you send your child to this school, do not expect any support. You are on your own.
