GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been in the sacs school district my entire academic career. Overall my academic experience has been well besides a few teachers. I have had many negative parts of my experience like the diversity problems. Many things such as gun threats, racism, and bullying. The schools fails to recognize the issues and do anything about them. I have recieved many resources to help me succeed in my post secondary schooling.

This school is overwhelmed with just covering their own bases, dealing with a renovation and teacher retention, and not worrying about doing what is best for kids. The pr people and admin are simply a mouthpiece just trying to throw pc terms and catch phrases at you to promote a false sense of buy in when you have zero voice. If you need help, forget it, unless you have a solid IEP. You will need to get supplemental tutors, you have zero voice as a parent, you are not welcome in their buildings, and your kid is simply a number.

Great for anyone looking to prepare for college, with a variety of dual credit and AP classes with great teachers. Kids don't have a large school spirit, but a lot of kids are in a sport, performing art, visual art, club, and job.

Homestead High School is much like the elementary and middle schools that lead you to going there. The expectations from teachers are high, and if you have any questions or need help from them - forget it. Most do not respond to emails in a timely matter. If your emails happen to be about homework,...

In any problem that any student has run into (personal or school-related) the teachers and administrators do everything in there power to help. In the remodel ideas for the school, students were asked and encouraged for input to make the school better for its students. The homework is work but is we...
