Well I just arrived to Poly this year so I don't have much to say about it, but I did come from another school and I'll say the environmental change was substantial and noticeable as soon as I walked through those Poly doors but so far I think the schools been solid and always gets a bad rep for the wrong reasons which is unfair. But I do think Poly as a school can improve, it's no one else's job to make the school better but us, the students, the staff, and anyone else affiliated, but I do believe the school is improving in all areas I believe the constantly doubted Poly High School has a bright future ahead.

As a senior it was my first year at Poly, so my experience may have been better if I had more time there. However it took over 3 months for my transcript to be filed from my previous high school. There is next to none control or rules for the students. There is minimum of class work and homework given. Students are allowed to leave campus for lunch which does not guarantee safety. Teachers are nice but administration specifically counselors do not put students needs and worries as a priority.

The administration aren't the most organized but the teachers themselves make up for it and the school itself is very relaxes with many opportunities to redeem yourself if you fall behind.

I'm a teacher. Poly really a school that has made headway in both teachers and students learning to move forward. This is not a school for teachers who want the easiest to teach or students who expect everything to be easy. The rigor is here for the students to learn. We have professors and teachers...

This school is just horrible, the new principals just yell at students with bull horns throughout the halls. When the principals suspend students they don't tell them why or have a talk with them or anything . This school just became completely disorganized and awful when the the new administrative...

I feel very unsafe at Poly , sorry to say the campus monitors are all old and very slow, anyone from the neighborhood can just come on in and blend with the students or harm us. They don't break up any fights all they do is gossip about the students, this school just need to be shut down.

My son goes to Polly.and he loves it. Little nervous about the star test. But I know that he will do the best that he can do.
