Francis W Parker is an excellent K-12 academy. It has a tremendous Fair Share Scholarship program with heavy participation. It has some of the finest teachers in Chicago. Parker continuously seeks innovation in its curriculum. College placement is extremely high.

As a parent of two kids in Parker, we love Parker and the whole community at all levels. The teachers are all respectful and experienced and supportive, my children love the school and are growing up happily and healthily in here.

I loved this school! I went there as a kid and will definitely be sending my kids there. The teachers are very engaged with the students and the experience I had was so special!

Staff members (assistant teachers, after school staff members, etc) are given non-livable wages. $19-$20/hour is not adequate in 2024.
