I have 2 kids at Winstead and they have thrived here. Every teacher they've had has been excellent and many of them send their own children here. There is a lot of stability in teachers and administrators. The specials teachers are exceptional especially Music and Gifted. The school culture is great and parents are really involved. There is always something going on and tons of extracurricular activities for kids to participate in. They are multiple outdoor spaces for kids to run around and be kids. This is a really special school and I'm so glad we got lucky enough to be zoned here.

I have had three kids go here. They all liked it. Teachers seem nice and kids have homework to help with their learning. Two suggestions for improvement:. If your kid is on an IEP I haven't seen them work with the parents to fix the key issues. The want to add lots of unnecessary things to the plan...
