I had a wonderful four years at Washington High School. The student body is incredibly diverse and the teachers worked hard to ensure students received the best education in preparation for college.

It was just an okay high school. Somewhere to get your diploma and be done with it. I wish the school offered more opportunities for students to express creativity. Their art program has been stripped to fund their math and science program. In all honesty I have no idea why because their science department is severely lacking. Terrible place for science and art but an okay place for math and history.

Something I would like to see change at Washington is the amount of info we are told about Scholarships themselves.

Egregious racism and sexism at this school. My daughter feels unsafe and unsupported at this school and at this point in the year it’s very clear what kind of environment the school creates. Her friends have had similar experiences of facing discrimination and harassment from students, and they have...

As a parent, I have deep concerns about the lack of LGBTQ+ and mental health support at this school. While the teachers are generally caring and dedicated, it seems the administration is not adequately addressing the needs of LGBTQ students or providing sufficient mental health resources. Additional...

I am a substitute teacher and have found that most of the people who work at Washington HS, from the administrators to the teachers, clerical staff, and custodial staff are very friendly and helpful. I feel welcomed and respected for the most part. The curricula is rigorous and allgned to the CA Sta...
